Hi Samantha!
I love that you live close enough to Walt Disney World to make a spontaneous visit! Given that Daytona to Walt Disney World is an easy and close drive, I would certainly be there quite often!
While you can certainly still purchase
tickets at the front entrance of the theme park, I highly recommend purchasing them in advance. All theme park visits require both valid admission for the park and a
theme park reservation. The challenge with purchasing your theme park tickets at the gate is that you run the risk of the park not having any availability.
You can check the availability of your desired theme park in advance by reviewing the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. Once you determine that the park you want to visit is available, you can purchase your tickets and make a
theme park reservation.
Since you are visiting on February 23, I highly recommend doing that as soon as possible, as the calendar is already showing limited availability with no availability at certain parks.
While you are visiting, I highly recommend checking out some of the amazing food at EPCOT. The
San Angel Inn is one of my favorites. You can't beat the view and the food.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
