Hello Leticia, and welcome to planDisney! We are glad you brought your question to us.
Tickets
are sold at Walt Disney World theme park ticket windows, when available. To manage theme park attendance, Walt Disney World Resort has implemented the
Disney Park Pass system. In order to enter a theme park, all Guests ages 3 and up must have both an
admission ticket and a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation. If reservations are unavailable for a particular park, tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate.
The
holiday season is a very popular time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I have been keeping an eye on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and I know some parks have no availability on certain dates in December. However, I have also noticed that some dates that were previously unavailable are as of this writing showing all parks available. You might wish to keep checking for ticket/reservation availability; other Guests' plans change all the time and it is possible that Disney Park Pass reservations for the park you wish to visit might become available. Another option would be to purchase a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option. This way, you could make a Disney Park Pass reservation for whichever theme park currently has availability on your date, and then "hop" over to a different park after 2:00 pm when park hopping hours begin. Please note that the ability to park hop is not guaranteed; if a park is at capacity, park hopping for that park will be temporarily suspended and a notification will be sent via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. A temporary suspension of park hopping only happens rarely, and to my knowledge, has not happened at all so far in 2022. However, it is important to consider the possibility, especially during the busy holiday season.
Leticia, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us here at planDisney again. We are always happy to help.
