if i buy a ticket for 2011 and i cant go do the tickets expire in a year?

The "expiration clock" on Walt Disney World tickets does not begin until you use the tickets. This means that if you purchase, for example, a 7-day Magic Your Way ticket today, it is valid indefinitely. You could use it several years from now. However, once you first use the ticket, your seven theme park admissions expire in 14 days. You are also welcome to buy the "No Expire" add-on for your ticket which would mean that admission days will not expire until you've used them all.

    Good luck with your planning!
