    Do we have to buy the theme park passes at the hotel to use the Extra Magic Hours or can we buy them at the Disney Store in my home state?

    Kim,

    For Extra Magic Hours, it does not matter where you buy your park entry tickets.  The only requirement for Extra Magic Hours is to show proof that you are staying on property at WDW.  To do this all you need to do is simply show a valid Resort ID from any WDW resort property, including Shades of Green, Swan, Dolphin, and the Hilton in Downtown Disney.
