Welcome to planDisney, friend, and thanks for this great question. Let me begin by clarifying that I am NOT a math whiz! But I will do my best to offer some tips and ideas for purchasing
Theme Park Tickets for your next
Walt Disney World Resort visit. Let's pull up a calculator and get started.
In the spirit of research, I logged into
My Disney Experience and added three one-day, one-park tickets to my cart, specifying a different park for each ticket. Although prices are subject to change and depend on the date and park you choose, I can safely say my total was steep!
I called the
New Tickets line and spoke to Birch, a Cast Member with a head for numbers, and she said the system would not allow one guest to purchase more than one standard ticket for the same day. I hadn't gotten that far in the purchase process, but Birch said you cannot purchase more than one standard ticket.
The good news is that a one-day
Park Hopper ticket typically costs less than half the price of three separate tickets. That's a much better value, and you could visit all
four theme parks on the same day. You can utilize
Disney Resort Transportation to move easily between parks starting around 1:30.
If you're concerned about theme parks reaching capacity, I asked Birch about that. She said there's no guarantee, but she felt that December 30 would see all parks remain open for hopping. My tip is to call the Park Hopper Line at (407) 560-5000 for theme park availability before you head to your next park.
A final suggestion is to purchase a standard one-park ticket. If the park you'd like to hop to has availability after 2:00, you can add the Park Hopper Option at any
Guest Relations location.
I'm so glad we didn't have to use algebra to solve this question, and I hope I've given you some options to consider. Please
stop by planDisney anytime. I'm "counting" on it!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
