Nina,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Two quick answers to your questions. No, you cannot upgrade just one day of a multi-day
ticket package with the Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper Option has to be added to the entire ticket package. To your other question, no, you do not have to use all your ticket days consecutively! Let me now give you some more information on both.
Park Hopper Option
The Park Hopper Option is added as a ticket upgrade to your entire ticket purchase. As such, it does not have a daily quoted cost, but instead just a flat added cost. That added cost gets a bit higher with longer ticket packages, but of course the per-day average drops, which is great! So, you would have to add it to your entire package, but that does afford you the chance to park hop on those other two days, in case you choose to do so.
Park Day UsageWith multi-day ticket packages, Disney lets you use those park days in increasingly longer time spans as the number of days increases. So as an example, if you get a 3-day theme park ticket package, you can use those days across a 5-day period, from that date that you select as your first day. That means you have two 'wiggle room' days! If you were to go up to an 8-day ticket, you move up to 4 'wiggle room' days, as they let you redeem those tickets across a 12-day period.
BONUS TIPOnce you know what days in that 5-day window will be your park days, be sure to make your Theme Park Reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system, so you lock in those park plans!
