if I buy resident passes are my non resident children allowed to use them?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brenda!

Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets or Annual Passes for Florida residents may only be used by Guests who can verify their Florida residence via a Florida driver’s license or state-issued photo ID (or a valid Florida-based military ID). Should you not have one of these forms of ID, there are several other items that are acceptable (when accompanied by a passport or other government-issued photo ID). You can find the complete list of residency-verification documents on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

All Guests over the age of 18 who purchase a Theme Park ticket or Annual Pass using their Florida resident discount will be required to verify their residency prior to the ticket’s or pass' activation. Children under the age of 18, though, do not need to provide photo ID or proof of residence; however, they must be accompanied by a Florida resident adult in order to activate their tickets or Annual Passes.

I hope this answers your question, Brenda! If there’s anything else we can do to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please don’t hesitate to ask.
