    Do you have to buy a regular admission ticket for Animal Kingdom if you purchase an EXTRA Magic ticket for after hours?

    Hello Fay!

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like you are planning a fun night at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.   I hope you have a wild time making memories that will last a lifetime.

    Disney After Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a special event that require a special ticket.  If you have a purchased an After Hours event ticket you will be able to enter the Theme Park at  7 PM.  You will not need a separate admission ticket to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park if you are planning to just attend the after hours event.  The event itself runs from 9 PM until Midnight, but you can enjoy the park for two hours until the event begins at nine.   One of the best things about these special events is that they sell a limited number of tickets so the crowds are small and wait times for attractions are low.  Oh and the icing or should I say ice cream on the cake is that select beverages, popcorn and ice-cream  novelties are included in the cost of the ticket.   Isn't that great?
