Hi Susan!
Welcome to planDisney!
When your Lightning Lane booking window opens (which looks like that may be very soon!), you will only be able to purchase
Lightning Lane Premier Pass for one park on each park day. You will not be able to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass for two parks on the same day.
With that being said, if you’re planning to park hop, you’re more than welcome to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass in addition to your Premier Pass. You can also purchase up to 2 Lightning Lane Single Passes. And if you have a valid
park hopper linked to your account, those two Single Passes do not need to be in the same park.
Of course, all Lightning Lane services are pending availability. So, I recommend purchasing them as soon as your Lightning Lane booking window opens. If you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets.
If you decide to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass in addition to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Single Pass, I’d plan to purchase your Multi Pass or Single Pass first. That way, you have a better chance at snagging the return times you’re hoping for. You’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass in one transaction, then you can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass in a separate transaction.
I was lucky enough to use Lightning Lane Premier Pass on a recent trip, and wow! It was so nice to be able to scan into a Lightning Lane whenever I was ready. It made for such a laid-back park day. I hope you enjoy every second of it!
