Hi Jessica,
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question; welcome aboard!
While Disney Cruise Line does not offer drink packages in the same way other cruise lines do, I'm glad you asked your question so I can share what I think are even better options for you!
First, Disney Cruise Line allows
each Guest 21 years and older to bring up to two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750ml) or six beers (no larger than 12oz) on board in carry-on luggage at the beginning of the voyage and each port-of-call. You will need to carry these items with you until your stateroom is ready, which could take a few hours, so keep that in mind.
Another option is to take advantage of the Drink of the Day, which allows you to purchase the featured specialty cocktail each day for a discounted price. If you prefer a cold pint instead, you can purchase the
Refillable Beer Mug which offers 21 ounces of your favorite brew for the price of 16 ounces. With both of these specials, you get a souvenir tumbler or mug to take home!
Be sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for special happy hour offerings at the different lounges onboard. Many times happy hours coincide with other events like Disney Cruise Line's famous music trivia, where teams compete for a coveted medal!
Finally, my favorite way to enjoy an adult beverage on a Disney cruise is the
Beverage Tastings. These special adult-only events are hosted by talented and knowledgeable mixologists in the lovely lounges around the ship. You can try everything from Chocolate and Liquor pairings to Rum Tasting on
Disney Castaway Cay. I recommend that you book tastings once your
booking window opens because they tend to be very popular.
Jessica, I hope this information is helpful to you as you dream about your cruise. Please let us know if you have other questions; we are here to help!
Cheers to magical memories ahead,
Shannon
