    Can I buy I personality chip for my r unit even though I’m back in England?

    Hello, Katie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Unfortunately, there is not currently an option to order additional personality-affiliation chips for Astromech units online. These options are currently only available at the Droid Depot inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland Park in California and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. My best suggestion would be to periodically check the shopDisney.com website to see if and when these options will be available for purchase outside of the Theme Parks.

    I’m so jealous that you had a chance to build your own custom R-Unit during your last visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Katie! My daughter has put this experience on her birthday wish list, and we plan to do it during our visit in June. I know that choosing which droid to build will be a difficult choice to make; we have loved seeing all of the iterations people have created!

    I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you at this time, Katie. I do hope you’re enjoying your droid at home, though, and hope that you’ll be able to pick up a chip on your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
