Magical greetings from across the pond, Mark!
Thanks for submitting your question here at planDisney. I can see that you're making plans to visit the
Disneyland Resort during the
holiday season this year, which is always a whimsical time. It also happens to be my favorite time of year, so many special treats and merchandise, plus celebrations at both parks are happening. I can understand your desire to get in as much magic as you can, and that you're interested in learning about early entry.
At this time,
early admission options for
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park are only for registered guests at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels. Guests can enter 30-minutes early to a designated theme park every day of their hotel stay to enjoy select attractions, dining, and retail locations. Unfortunately there is no add-on option for a general admission ticket for early admission.
The year is just getting started, so you still have time to make accommodation updates if you want to take advantage of that early admission option. My recommendation is always the
Disneyland Hotel, it's nostalgic and pixie dust is filled to the brim throughout the hotel property. The new Discovery Tower, home to the
Villas at Disneyland Hotel, is beautiful and the
Palm Breeze Bar is a great place to relax for a bite to eat and drink after a long park day. The
Fifty-Five-Fifty beverage is refreshing and can be made either as a cocktail or mocktail and the chocolate, passionfruit, and mixed berry
Mickey beignets are delectable.
While December may seem light years away, it will come sooner than you think! I'm counting down to the magic with you, Mark! Thanks again for stopping by, if you have any other questions before your big trip, please
reach out again. We're here to help!
Always dreaming a Disney dream!
