Hi Michelle,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Hello fellow Floridian-oh how I love the Sunshine State! I also love the many discounts that the Walt Disney World Resort gives to those of us that live so close to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
You may add a
Disney Dining Plan to an existing resort reservation and do not have to purchase tickets. You must
call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and request a ticketless package; the Cast Member you speak with will be happy to help you with this addition. This is especially handy if you're an
Annual Passholder like me and don't need park tickets when making a resort reservation.
Walt Disney World's free Disney Dining Plan promotions usually require purchasing park tickets as part of the vacation package, even if you're already an Annual Passholder. It's worth mentioning that you also cannot use Annual Passholder (or any other) discounts for your resort reservation for these offers.
If you happen to love eating at Table Service restaurants within the Walt Disney World Resort, have you considered
Tables in Wonderland? It may be a good value for you that you can use throughout most of the year if you have multiple visits planned and enjoy the fun and food at these incredible dining locations.
Michelle, thanks for stopping by and please come and visit us again with any additional vacation planning questions!
Best Wishes,
Amy S.
