    Jill from NY Asked

If I buy park tickets can I modify them. Can I change the person who will use them?

Hello there, Jill! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your summer visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

My family and I love how wonderfully flexible our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can be! We can pick and choose so many different aspects of our visit but we can also make changes along the way. This is incredibly important to us since we sometimes need to make last-minute alterations to our travel plans!

Fortunately, this flexibility also extends to theme park tickets! Guests may alter their theme park tickets as long as they have not already been used. In order to make changes to your theme park tickets, you will first need to log into your My Disney Experience account. From here, navigate over to the “My Plans” section and identify which ticket you would like to change. You should then see a link titled “Modify Ticket”. Once you have clicked this, you will be given the option to alter many different parts of your ticket such as travel dates or add-ons.

If you plan on reassigning your theme park ticket to a different person, this may also be done here. However, you will want to make sure they have been added to your Family & Friends List since you can only assign theme park tickets to Guests on this list.

If you make any changes to your theme park tickets, be sure that you also alter your theme park reservations! All Guests are now required to have reservations prior to entering any of the four theme parks so you will want to make any needed changes to these as well!

Best of luck as you continue to plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can provide any other planning information along the way!
