Terry from MD Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If we buy park tickets in advance and we cannot use them on the dates we reserved, can we reschedule and use them on a different date as long as there is availability?

Hello there, Terry! Greetings from everyone here at planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

You and your family will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the perfect time to kick off the beginning of summer! There are so many fun happenings taking place during this period of time but one of my personal favorites is the Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! This seasonal event celebrates everything to do with springtime through live entertainment, gorgeous topiary displays and gardens, and delicious dishes. I highly recommend making a point to try out some of the offerings at the event-exclusive Outdoor Kitchens since these locations have some of the freshest, seasonal eats you will find anywhere!

A great perk of traveling to Walt Disney World Resort is the amount of flexibility that is available both before and after you have booked your reservation! This means that you can worry less about potential changes you may need to make and enjoy the planning process. Guests are able to change the date of their tickets by visiting their My Disney Experience account. From there, navigate to the “My Tickets” page and select the “Change Ticket” link. You will then be able to change such options as travel dates, ticket type, and the number of days. If there is a price difference between your previous ticket and your new choices, you will then be able to pay the difference on the following page.

Keep in mind, you will need theme park reservations prior to visiting any of the four theme parks! These can easily be made through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as you have attached theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. I do highly recommend checking out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online to verify the availability on your travel dates prior to making any changes as well!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation to Walt Disney World Resort regardless of when you choose to visit! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you in the meantime!
