Hiya Terri!
It’s so great to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
I am so glad to hEAR you’re thinking about coming to The Most Magical Place on Earth! As soon as I found out
Walt Disney World Resort 2020 tickets and Disney Resort hotel reservations were resuming sales,
returning to the magic was all I could think about! Can you picture it? Walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar in hand, the jubilant multicolored Mickey Mouse balloons, and then viola! There it is, the most magnificent sight in all the land:
Cinderella Castle! —I apologize, I’m so excited, I’m getting ahead of myself!
Let’s get back to your question! I went ahead and looked at the cancellation policy for
Theme Park Tickets. It states, “After expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price.” It also states that you can make changes to your tickets, “including your ticket dates, prior to midnight ET of the day before your ticket’s first valid use date.” Keep in mind, when modifying your ticket, although there is no change fee, additional cost applies for dates with higher ticket prices. So if the price of the ticket in 2021 is higher, you would just pay the difference. Another really important note to remember is that tickets are always nontransferable once they’re assigned to a person, so they would be used by the same person on all days.
Be sure to check the
Disney Park Pass system reservation availability before purchasing your tickets! I made my reservations and it was easy and effortless!
Terri, I am sending all the pixie dust your way so you can return to the magic very soon!
Aena
