Hi I want to buy one day/one park tickets for disneyland in june, but I am unsure if I will be able to make it due to personal situation. I am wondering if the tickets will stay valid if unused. Do I cancel them? And how long will they stay valid?

Welcome, Helena! We are glad you stopped by planDisney with your question about your theme park ticket.

One-day tickets purchased this year are valid now through December 30, 2023. As long as it is unused, your ticket will still be valid. You would just need to cancel your theme park reservation for June 9 and then make a new reservation for your desired date when you decide on it. Simply log into your Disneyland account online. Then go to the "My Disneyland" tab and select "Ticket and Reservation Details" (this is where you can cancel your park reservation). After that, visit the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations webpage to book a new park reservation using the same ticket. It will only show you available dates for your ticket tier, so if your ticket is for June 9 (which is in Tier 3), it will only show availability on the calendar for other Tier 3 dates.

I hope this helps, Helena! Make sure to take some time during your trip to see one of the beloved Disneyland nighttime spectaculars. One of my favorites is the Main Street Electrical Parade, which has a brand new finale featuring Encanto! Here's a planDisney tip: If you don't have a Dining Package and want to watch the first parade, be prepared to be in place by 6:30 PM. Otherwise, the second running of the parade is usually much less crowded. See ya real soon!
