If I buy one day one park ticket and reserve for a specific park can I go in at any time? I just want to know if the day of my visit to the park I can go in at any time or do I have to go as the park opens or another time say noon?

    Hello Paula! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you're headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth really soon, I bet you're getting so excited!  Did you know that just the day before you arrive the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction will open to Guests at EPCOT?  If you're a thrill-seeker who is ready for an awesomely fun time I hope your one day Theme Park Reservation is for EPCOT so you can try it out! I was a little scared before I rode the first time, just because I didn't know what to expect, but after that, I couldn't get enough! My panelist friends and I ended up riding over and over and over again, finding that we liked the coaster even better the second, third, and fourth times around!

Paula, as long as you have both a valid Theme Park Ticket and Theme Park Reservation for a specific Park on the day of your visit you are able to enter that Park at any time of day.  While I am definitely a get-up-and-go Mom when I'm on vacation, I know my entire family could benefit from sleeping in on a couple days of our trip!  Since you're only planning to visit one Park for one day I would personally suggest getting there as early as comfortable so that you're able to make the most out of your time spent within the Theme Park.

You may have noticed that Guests who are planning to "Park Hop", that is, move from one Theme Park to another in the same day with a Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket, are not able to "hop" until after 2 p.m. However, your Standard Theme Park Ticket allows you to waltz through Cinderella Castle at any time of day as long as you've made that Theme Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom.  If you do end up choosing to "hop" you'll find that Guests do not need a Theme Park Reservation for any Park except the one that they visit first each day.

If you plan on staying out late, make sure to catch one of the two nighttime spectacular fireworks shows while you visit!  If you're spending the day in Magic Kingdom, stay on Main Street U.S.A for a fantastic view of Disney Enchantment, or if you're at EPCOT I've found that watching Harmonious from anywhere in World Showcase gives you a perfect view of the lights, lasers, and fireworks!

Enjoy your quick, but sure-to-be memorable, trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
