Hey there, hi there, ho there, Joe!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm ecstatic to hear you're hoping to visit a Disney destination sometime in the near future. There’s so much to look forward to in 2023 at both
The Happiest Place on Earth and
The Most Magical Place on Earth, so it’s the perfect time to get that magical vacation on the books.
Unfortunately, while Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are both
Disney Vacation Destinations, they are separate entities. Thus, a
theme park ticket purchased for Disneyland Resort can only be used at Disneyland Resort. The same applies for
theme park tickets purchased for Walt Disney World Resort. I know that’s not what you were hoping to hear, but that just means you’ll get double doses of magic if you plan two separate vacations! I know that might seem a little overwhelming, but you’ve come to the right place for assistance in navigating the planning process. Just think of planDisney Panelists as Disney vacation-planning Fairy Godmothers and Fairy Godfathers. Trust me - no question is too great, so
stop by anytime and ask away!
In the meantime, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates on what you have to look forward to at both destinations this year. Personally, I’m looking forward to the
Disney100 Anniversary Celebration festivities at the Disneyland Resort, which includes the return of the
“Magic Happens” Parade. I am also eagerly counting down the days until
TRON Lightcycle / Run opens at Walt Disney World Resort on April 4th.
I hope to see you around here again soon, Joe. Have a magical day!
Until next time,
Alyssa
