Hi Julie,
I am also an avid Disney World shopper and often stress about how I will get all of my goodies home with the limited amount of space in my suitcase. Lucky for us, Disney has several options for sending packages home.
You can ship
pre-labeled, pre-packaged goods home at any of the Disney Resort hotel's front desks. This does require you to package and print off a label before you bring it down to the front desk which is not always a feasible option. Disney also has
Business Centers located in several convenient hotel locations. These business centers will provide all of the packaging materials needed and get your goods packed up and labeled for you to send home. It is a convenient option and what I typically use.
Since there is not one located at
Disney's Old Key West Resort, I recommend getting all of your items together and heading to the most convenient resort option with a Business Center. I like to make an event out of getting my goodies shipped home by making a dining reservation at the location I am shipping out from and heading over there on my last night to pack up my treasures and have a delicious send-off dinner.
My favorite resort dining options that are located close to a Business Center are Disney's
Contemporary Resort and
Grand Floridian Resort. If you choose to head to the Grand Floridian,
Citricos is a practically perfect loosely Mary Poppins-themed dining experience with delicious food and drinks. If you are looking to explore the Contemporary Resort instead,
California Grill is a must-do. It features a decadent 3-course meal and private access to a rooftop patio where you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks!
Happy Shipping,
Jenna
