I want to buy a membership to DVC but we never plan vacations more than 5 months in advance. Has anyone have had problems booking in the desired location when booking only 5 months in advance? (excluding Christmas) We would only be booking studio or 1bed

    Hi Luciano,

I own at both the Boardwalk and Saratoga Springs and have been a member of the Disney Vacation Club since 1999. I have only once not had my request honored and had to take an alternative to my original vacation and we still had a great time.

As long as you are not looking at school holidays, you should be able to find accommodations at a Disney Vacation Club property. You just need to be flexible on dates and locations and sometimes room sizes.

Also, you can always book a room and then add your name to the wait list for another property. Your request will automatically be filled if a room becomes available up to seven days out. At this point, you can call daily to see if a room is available if you really want a different resort.

    Wishing you a magical day!
