    Can we buy Magic Bands (the old style) at our resort when we check in? And would our bands from 2016 still work?

    Welcome to planDisney, Glenn! I'm happy to see that you're busy planning your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! It's right around the corner! Thanks for sending us your question. 

    As long as you have a valid theme park ticket linked to each member of your family who will be on the trip with you and they have an active MagicBand linked to them, you will be able to use your existing bands. You may also purchase new MagicBands at the gift shop of your Disney Resort Collection hotel as well as at any of the theme parks and at shops at Disney Springs. You have so many great options!

    Your MagicBand can be used to enter theme parks, open your Disney Resort Collection hotel room, and you can use it to make charges during your vacation.
