    If a buy a magic band from Amazon am I able to link it to my room and park ticket?

    Oh Amazon, how I love you. Where else can I get virtually anything I would like delivered to my front door in less than 2 days? Angela, as much as I love Amazon, I would not recommend that you order a MagicBand from anywhere other than Disney. 

    While in theory, you could link a MagicBand that was purchased elsewhere to your My Disney Experience account, MagicBands are non-transferable. This means that if someone took the code from the MagicBand before reselling it on Amazon, you would not be able to link that MagicBand to your account. 

    Angela, did you know that you can purchase a MagicBand directly from shopDisney? Not only does shopDisney have a wider selection than Amazon, but the MagicBands appear to be the same price, or slightly cheaper, and are guaranteed to be ready to link to your My Disney Experience Account. 

    My MagicBand is the first thing that I pack when heading to Walt Disney World Resort. Not only can you use it as your theme park ticket and Walt Disney World Resort hotel room key, but you can use it to access all of your amazing PhotoPass photos, and even charge expenses right back to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room!
