Greetings, not-so-foolish mortal, and welcome to your own personal Doom Buggy: planDisney. I'm dying to answer your question about
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so let's look at some options you'd have if your plans change.
I spoke with a ghoulishly good Cast Member who said the only trip insurance offered would be on a
Vacation Package, including standard Theme Park Tickets and a Disney Resort Hotel stay. She said if you purchase the insurance on your package and add tickets for a Special Event like the Halloween party, all your plans would be covered. Feel free to contact
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for more details. But never fear. You'll still have some options if you don't have a Vacation Package.
Although all tickets are nonrefundable and non-transferable, you can change party dates. The catch is that the closer the dates are, the more likely the event will sell out. But if your plans change, and there's another date still available, you can change the date by calling the
Existing Tickets line. So that's BOO-tiful news!
I also found out from another Ghost-Host Cast Member that the value of an unused Special Event Ticket does not expire. So, if your plans change and no other dates for this year's Halloween party will work, you can call Existing Tickets to be sure that ticket is on hold. You'd be able to apply the value of the ticket to
any other Special Event in the coming months or even years. You could use it toward Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or any After-Hours Event.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party is scream, Tiffany, and I hope you can find a date that works for you. But if your plans change, now you know your options. I hope I've not been too scary to work with, and you're welcome to
come back to planDisney anytime. We're all fiends here...I mean, friends!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
