can I buy 11 individual tickets and link them all to my account

Hi Kathleen, and welcome to planDisney! Organizing a large group for a visit to the parks is no small feat, but with a little savvy use of the Disneyland app, you’ll be navigating like a pro in no time. I’m happy to help you get everything set up so your crew can focus on making magical memories together!

One thing to keep in mind is that the maximum number of tickets that can be linked to a single MyDisney account is 10. Since your group is larger than that, you’ll need to split the tickets between at least two accounts, with each account able to make reservations for their assigned group. The good news? This process is easy to manage in the Disneyland app. To link additional tickets, open the app and tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right corner. Select “Tickets & Passes,” then scan the ticket’s barcode or enter the Barcode ID under “Type ID.” Repeat this for each ticket you wish to link. Make sure that everyone handling reservations follows these steps, and you’ll be all set! If you run into any trouble, you’re always welcome to visit a ticket booth in the Esplanade between the parks, where a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist.

One more important detail to note, Kathleen: if all the tickets are linked to a single account, that person must be present when scanning into the park. My personal recommendation? Have everyone in your group download the Disneyland app. This way, each ticket can be linked to both your MyDisney account and their individual accounts, giving everyone easy access. The app isn’t just useful for storing tickets. It’s also your go-to tool for checking attraction wait times, viewing entertainment schedules, and, most importantly, placing mobile food orders when that Disneyland appetite kicks in!

Now, with a group as big as yours, I’ve got a few Q-Tips to ensure everyone has a blast experiencing attractions together. First up, there’s nothing quite like filling an entire boat on Pirates of the Caribbean. Your lively crew might just give Captain Jack Sparrow and his band of misfits a run for their doubloons! Another group-friendly favorite? Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. You never know; one of your family members might even get chosen as the Rebel Spy! And if your group is craving some thrills, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is a must. Not only will you help Rocket free the Guardians, but it’s also the perfect chance to capture a priceless mid-drop photo, hair flying, hands in the air, and all smiles! Of course, if you’re in the mood for something a little more relaxed, the Disneyland Railroad is the perfect way to sit back, enjoy each other’s company, and take in the sights of the park from the comfort of a classic steam-powered train.

If you have any additional questions as you plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to stop by again. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a magical visit!
