Hi Trisha, welcome back to planDisney!
You can certainly use your credit card to purchase a Disney Gift Card. You’re visiting just in time to visit the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival before it ends June 2, 2025. There is even a special
Disney Gift Card wristlet design just for the festival, subject to availability.
A few tips for your Disney Gift Card, Trisha. I know it is convenient to have the gift card on your wrist, but I still recommend saving your gift card information on
DisneyGiftCard.com. This website will help track the balance and usage of your gift card, and you’ll have the gift card information in case your physical card is lost. If you have any other Disney Gift Cards, you can also save them to
DisneyGiftCard.com and transfer the balance onto your wristlet.
At this time, you can’t save a Disney Gift Card to your My Disney Experience account as a payment method, but you can still use your gift card to check out your
Mobile Food & Beverage Order or
Merchandise Mobile Checkout. Before you complete your purchase, find “+ Add a Card” under “Payment Methods.” Next, you’ll enter your 16-digit Card Number, or you can scan the barcode from the back of your gift card.
I hope this helps, Trisha. Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World! Don’t forget to check out
The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure and
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After in Hollywood Studios! Both shows opened recently, and I have heard rave reviews. I can’t wait to see them during my next visit! If you have any future questions, we’ll be here to help at
planDisney!
