Hi there, Aidan!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for creeping by with your question as you prepare for your spooktacular adventure to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be thrilled to assist with your inquiry, so let's get
ghouling!
With
Disney Genie+ Service, all Lightning Lane return times occur during regular park hours. Since
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins after
Magic Kingdom Park's official day has ended, you cannot use Disney Genie+ Service during the event. But don't be scared! You will find wait times for most attractions are typically shorter than they are during the day. Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and the event page on the Walt Disney World website for more information on how
Virtual Queues will work during this year's parties. Last year, party Guests could request to join the Virtual Queue for
TRON Lightcycle/Run at 6 PM on the day of their Halloween party to access this attraction. With the addition of
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, we're still waiting to see what Virtual Queues will look like this fall.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events in Walt Disney World. I have recently attended several, so before I disappear, I'll share a few quick tips to help you have an
eerie-sistible experience.
*Orlando's weather is typically still quite warm in the fall. Consider this when planning your attire for the evening. Also, pack an umbrella or poncho in case of an unexpected rain shower.
*Most restaurants will stop serving after regular theme park hours; plan to have an early dinner before the frightfully fun festivities get started.
*Speaking of food, consult the Disney Parks Blog before your trip for details about event-specific snacks. Upon arrival at the party, you should receive a guide map with marked snack and trick-or-treat locations.
*There is so much entertainment at the party, it's nearly impossible to see it all in one night. If I had to pick my top two must-dos, they would be
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. See the second parade to experience lighter crowds.
I hope this has been helpful, Aidan. Best
witches for a grim grinning good time, and if there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make it even more memorable, don't hesitate to reach out again.
