If I buy a Florida Resident Annual Pass Online- does it activate immediately or will our 1 year clock start when we activate them at the park? I know the downpayment comes out immediately and we don't want to buy tickets now if they activate immediately!

    HI Shannon,
I'm also a Florida resident-and a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder! It's a great way to be able to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort for an entire year! The monthly payment plan is an easy way to stick to your budget too.

You'll be happy to know that your start date on your Annual Pass will be the first day you use it (your activation date), not the date of purchase. You can always take your Annual Passholder Magic Band to any Guest Relations desk to double check the activation date of your pass.

Shannon, I hope you have a great time enjoying the Walt Disney World Resort all year! Come back and see us if you have any additional questions and don't forget to personalize that Annual Passholder Magic Band in My Disney Experience!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
