    Justin from CA Asked

If I buy a disneyland ticket and make a reservation for June 28th but cancel due to circumstances, am I allowed to switch that reservation to another reservation date such as July 1st if available

    Hi there, Justin!

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

I completely understand that sometimes plans change, and thankfully, when it comes to a Disneyland Resort trip, it’s never a “goodbye,” but more of a “See you real soon, pal!”

You’ll find under the Important Details section of Theme Park reservations, it states, “Theme park reservations cannot be modified but can be canceled by visiting My Theme Park Reservations. If you’d like to cancel an existing reservation and book a new one, please first check on the availability of reservations for your new desired date and/or park.” Although you cannot modify your current reservation, you can make a new one if you cancel it.

I definitely recommend you first check for Theme Park Availability for your preferred date to ensure there is availability for the parks you’d like to visit. If you find it shows availability, you can most certainly cancel your current reservation to make a new one for the theme park.

We hope to see you real soon, pal! Have an enchanting visit, Justin!
