Jambo Jonathan!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Jonathan, if you’re anything like me, you’ve been plotting your next trip back to the magic! However much we miss our favorite place, I completely understand you taking all the precautions before planning your next vacation to
The Most Magical Place on Earth during these unprecedented times. I want you to know that at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney has taken steps to make Guest and Cast Member safety a priority. I recently returned to the magic myself and was very much impressed by all the new policies in place that made me feel safe during this time.
Jonathan, although
Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable, you can always change their valid use dates to a later trip. For a room-only
Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, you may cancel 5 or more days prior to your arrival to avoid penalty. That being said, if you book a Package, being room and tickets, when you cancel the package, you would be cancelling both room and tickets. So in this case, because it is a package, the tickets are able to be canceled and refunded. If you cancel a package more than 30 days prior to arrival, there are no cancellation penalties, unless airfare or Travel Protection is included. You can see
all the special offers here!
Meanwhile, check out
Travel Advice where you will find details to help you enjoy a safe and magical trip! During the phased re-opening, although things may look different, the
magic is still there and I hope you can take your magical vacation when you feel ready, Jonathan.
When you do decide to book your trip, we at planDisney are all ears to help you with all your planning questions, Jonathan!
