Hi Kelly!
Welcome back to planDisney!
At this time,
theme park tickets have an expiration date, so unfortunately, you wouldn’t be able to split up the days over that long of a time period. Currently, the 10-day tickets need to be used in about a 2-week timeframe, depending on the specific ticket type.
You can find the valid ticket dates based on the start date of your ticket in the ticket details right above the total price when you’re going through the prompts to make your purchase.
It could be worth doing the math to figure out how much your tickets would cost across 2-3 trips and compare it to an
Annual Pass, though! There have been some years when it just made sense for me to have an Annual Pass based on upcoming trips and dining and merchandise discounts that come along with the pass when compared to current ticket prices.
Plus, for a limited time, new Disney World Annual Passholders will get a
free Disney gift card, which will instantly give you some spending money for your trip!
Beyond the financial side of things, though, one of my absolute favorite parts of being a Passholder is the fact that I can pop into a theme park whenever I want (pending blockout dates and
park reservation availability), even if it’s just for a couple of hours without feeling like I wasted a full-day ticket. It makes my trips feel much more laid back overall.
No matter which route you decide to go, I’m so excited for you that you’re thinking about visiting the parks during the
Halloween and
Christmas seasons. Both are so much fun in their own way, and I love seeing the different vibes between the two.
If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us. We’re always happy to help!
