G’day, Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! You are planning to visit us from FAR away! I imagine that means you’ll be trying to do some things in Florida besides simply visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks!
If you purchase a
5-day ticket with the Water Park and Sports option, you will have nine days to use your visits, beginning with the first day that the ticket is booked for. This ticket includes 5 days of theme park admission (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, & Disney’s Animal Kingdom), as well as 5 admissions to either a water park or “other Walt Disney World fun”. You can use both a theme park admission AND an “other” admission on the same day.
Keep in mind the time of year that you plan to come, and what will actually be open. During the winter months in the US (November – February), Disney will plan to do renovations or deep cleaning in some areas. You will want to be sure that everything is open for you to take advantage of during your visit. My family loves a visit to both
Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon water parks. They each have their own unique attractions.
When booking your Walt Disney World vacation, be sure to add
Memory Maker to your package! This will include all photos taken at the four theme parks AND the two water parks. There are often photographers IN the water at many of the water park attractions to capture some truly splashtastic fun! We have some great photos of my son’s feet as he was shot out of Crush ‘n’ Gusher water coaster at Typhoon Lagoon when he was just a little one (he is 18 now!). When you purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days before your arrival, you can purchase it with a discount, too.
I hope this helps with planning your big trip to Florida, USA! Please don’t hesitate to come back with more planning questions! We are always happy to help.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
