if I buy a 1 day ticket would I be able to leave the park and come back to the same park to be able to rest before the fireworks?

    Hi Holly!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. When I visit the Happiest Place on Earth, I usually have a toddler in tow so midday breaks and nap time are an absolute necessity for my family!

I'm delighted to let you know that regardless of what kind of ticket you have when visiting Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, you are welcome to take a midday break and return that evening. When you first enter either park a friendly Cast Member will scan your ticket, then have you say CHEESE! and snap a quick photo of you on a small handheld device. This links up your ticket to your smiling face, so if you leave midday when you reenter and they scan your ticket again, they'll see it's still Holly using it and you are welcome to reenter. My family usually plans on being at the park for rope drop, having fun until lunch time, then heading back to the hotel for a little break until that evening. We are then ready and well rested to enjoy the nighttime entertainment!

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit this summer! Please come back if we can help in any other way.
