Greetings, Ian.
Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe you have less than two months to go until your Walt Disney World Resort holiday is here? You’ll be soaring with Dumbo, braving the high seas with a crew of swashbuckling pirates, and traveling to galaxies far, far away before you know it!
Currently, UK-based Guests are only able to purchase
7-day or 14-day theme park tickets online ahead of time, so you won’t be able to purchase a 1-day ticket quite yet. As soon as you land in the United States of America, head over to the US-based Walt Disney World Resort website (
www.DisneyWorld.Disney.go.com) where you can purchase tickets for shorter lengths of time. You also have the option of purchasing your 1-day ticket at any ticketing window at the theme parks. However, it might be best to purchase your ticket online at the US-based site as soon as you land since Theme Park Reservations are required for park entry and availability can run out from time to time.
I strongly encourage you to check the
Disney Park Pass availability calendar prior to purchasing your 1-Day ticket to make sure the park you wish to visit still has availability. If it does not, you might consider purchasing a 1-day ticket with the
Park Hopper Option so you can hop over to your park of choice after 2:00 p.m. and after visiting the park your reservation is at first. No matter which option you choose to purchase your ticket, you need to immediately link it to your
My Disney Experience account and proceed with making your Theme Park Reservation via the
Disney Park Pass system online.
Ian, I wish I had better news to share, but I hope this information helps. Remember, you’re going to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and there’s nothing better than that!
Enjoy your holiday,
Alyssa
