Hi Colleen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
It is such a smart idea to plan a relaxing pool day in the middle of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I do this myself, and recommend to everyone to take a day "off" as well. We tend to hit the parks hard when we first arrive - all the excitement keeps us going! But after a couple of days of early morning to late night non-stop fun, a day of sleeping in and enjoying the pool is just what you might need to feel refreshed and ready to jump back in to all the magic.
You do
not need to use your
3-day Tickets with Park Hopper Option three days in a row. A
3-day Theme Park ticket expires 5 days after the selected start date, so you will definitely be able to enjoy a pool day in between your park days. If you have purchased a Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package, your tickets are valid from check-in to check-out, or the number of valid days in the link above, whichever is longer.
There is also the ability to add a Flexible Date Option to your tickets for an added cost. (In your particular case this option will not be necessary.) This option extends the validity window to 14 days after the first use of the ticket, as my friend and fellow panelist
Missy explains.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again any time with any additional questions you may have as you
plan your vacation.
Enjoy your visit!
