Hi Amanda!
Welcome back! My fellow Panelists and I truly enjoy helping Guests, and so it is wonderful to see a Guest who returns to us with their questions!
Disney does offer grocery delivery for Guests staying in
Deluxe Villa Accommodations. You don’t need to be a Disney Vacation Club Member to use this service, but it is specifically for Deluxe Villas. To use this service, you’ll need to print out the
grocery order form, and then fax it to the resort. There is a service fee added to each order in addition to the cost of the items. I find this service super convenient, but there isn’t a large variety of options.
You mention that you are not in a DVC room. If you are in a standard, non-villa room at the resort you will need to either purchase your grocery items from the
Wilderness Lodge Mercantile or have them delivered from an outside company. The gift shops at
Disney Vacation Club Resorts will usually carry basics such as milk, eggs, butter, cream cheese, cereal, bread, bagels, juices, some small frozen meals, and ice cream novelties. Usually, what you see listed on the resort-specific grocery order form will give you a good idea of what that particular store stocks.
If you’d like to do an outside grocery order, Garden Grocer is one of the most popular options. I have used them on several occasions and always had good service. Their website is easy to use, but you must select from their specific list of items. Enter into the picture a very persnickety youngest child and I found that Garden Grocer didn’t have the exact items we needed, and so in recent years I have switched to using Dizzy Dolphin Delivery. Dizzy Dolphin can shop for exactly what you need, they offer personalized service, and they can deliver your groceries to Bell Services rather than having to meet you in person. Other good options are services like Instacart, Walmart+, or Amazon Prime Now.
Please know that if you pick up your groceries in person from Bell Services, or meet the grocery delivery person and carry your own items to your room there are no additional charges. If you request grocery delivery assistance to your room from Bell Services, there is currently a $6 (subject to change at any time) charge to your hotel bill for this service.
I hope this information helps you choose the best grocery option for you, Amanda. If you have any additional questions, you know where to find us!
