If we buy bottles of wine at Epcot but then park hop to magic kingdom is there some place to hold the wine without going back to our resort?

Argh, matey, and welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you stopped by, Jim, and in the words of my favorite pirate, Jack Sparrow, "Why is the rum gone?" Or, in this case, wine! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming soon, so let's talk about how to enjoy and transport libations so that they're NOT gone. Savvy?

You must be a real wine connoisseur, and you're wise to plan to do some shopping at EPCOT. There are so many wines from around the world there, and several restaurants will let you purchase bottles of your favorites. I've heard some of the best wines are at Chefs de France, so let me know what you choose! What a festive souvenir a bottle of champagne would make.

Jim, I chatted with a sommelier Cast Member who said you will not be allowed through security at Magic Kingdom Park with glass containers, so bottles of wine are prohibited. But let's parley a bit more because I have some other ideas. We don't want you to have to walk the plank!

One option is to rent a locker before you leave EPCOT. You could store your wine there and then hop to Magic Kingdom Park. Remember that you'll have access to the lockers as long as EPCOT is open, so be sure to check theme park hours

Another suggestion is to end your day at EPCOT and take the wine back to your room straight from the park. Or, if you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel on the Disney Skyliner route, it would be a quick trip to take those precious bottles back to your room before heading to Magic Kingdom Park unencumbered.

Jim, I hope I've given you some ideas for securing some chardonnay on your upcoming visit, and please stop by planDisney anytime. We wants the rum!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
