Hi Tammy,
Welcome to planDisney. As a former hairdresser, I fully appreciate quality styling tools! I never travel without my favorite products and my trusty curling iron, but I know I'll always find a hairdryer and those
deliciously scented H2O toiletries no matter which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room I stay in. Somehow my hair always seems easier to style when I'm on vacation. I don't know if it's the water or the pixie-dusted magic of staying on-site, but I hope the trend continues.
Without knowing which resort you most recently stayed at, unfortunately, I can't give you a definitive answer about the exact hairdryer in your room. However, I did a little online research and came up with a few possibilities. I tracked down a mention of an Andis model LCS-1 1875-watt dryer from a guest's past stay at both
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's Pop Century Resort. This was shared a few years ago, but it seems that a similar Andis Tourmaline Ionic model dryer is still available through Andis as well as some other online retailers. The item number on the Andis website is listed as 80695.
I also came across many mentions of Conair hairdryers available across both Value and
Deluxe Resort levels. I seem to remember using both a folding hairdryer and a traditional handle dryer over my past few stays, but unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the specific models. Conair does have a Compact Folding Handle Hair Dryer (Model 124TLN) available online, as well as the Mid-Size Hair Dryer (Model 303XN) with a stationary handle. Both of these are also 1875-watt dryers and look familiar when thinking back on my past early morning rope drop beauty routines. You can purchase either of these directly from the Conair website or by searching online third-party retailers.
I'm hoping one of these options will be the winner, but if they don't seem to be the dryer of your dreams come back and let us know where you last stayed and we can try to track down additional details.
Happy styling!
Amy
