Hi there, Hannah!
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us today. I'm happy to help!
When purchasing a
theme park ticket or an
Annual Pass online, you'll be able to assign it to a guest on your
Family & Friends list during the checkout process. If you've traveled with your sister before, she should already be connected but may be listed as a "Managed Profile" if she wasn't old enough to have her own account at that time. Both of my children currently have profiles managed by me, but I'll be able to share planning with them when ready.
Since your sister is already
older than 13 she can have her own MyDisney Account. If you purchase an Annual Pass on her behalf you can invite her to manage her plans at any time. To do so, you'll need to send her an invitation to connect using the email address she uses to create her account. Locate her name on your current Family & Friends list, then click "Manage" next to her name if she appears under the "Guests You Manage" section. Next, click "Invite X to Sign in and Plan on Their Own" and enter her email address. This will generate a request she'll need to approve, and once complete, any existing tickets or reservations on her account should appear on her end.
If someone other than you currently manages her account, they'll need to
share planning with you first or invite her to connect following the steps above. If you run into trouble you can reach out to a Cast Member by phone for assistance. They are pros at
merging duplicate accounts or assisting with technical issues on the back end.
I hope it's a smooth process and you're all
on your way to a year of magic in the parks together soon! If we can offer any further recommendations or guidance please don't hesitate to come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
