    Hi there! If I buy an annual pass now, but don't activate it until November(first use)...can I use it now to purchase discounted event tickets? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Todd!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    When you mentioned purchasing event tickets, I am assuming you are referring to special events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Disney After Hours events.

    I have good news!  When you have purchased a Walt Disney World Annual Pass and linked it to your account, you will be able to purchase discounted event tickets online.  Just be sure you are logged in to your Disney account.  After you have selected the event you are interested in, you should see a button with "Products and Prices for Annual Passholders" on the page where you select your tickets.

    I'm in the same boat as you; I recently purchased an Annual Pass but will not activate it until later this year and was able to purchase my Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket at the Annual Passholder price.

    When you activate your Annual Pass, be sure to carry your Annual Pass card with you to take advantage of all your discounts and benefits.  Also, keep your eye on the Passholder Extras page to see all limited-time special offers just for Annual Passholders.
