Hi Wanda! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m happy to see that you’ve started planning for your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!
While there’s no way to pay for parking in advance, the process of
paying for your parking when you arrive at any of the four theme parks is very quick and easy. A Cast Member will greet you as you’re driving in to collect the $22 fee for standard parking or $45 fee for preferred parking. The preferred spots are more expensive because they are located very close to the park entrances, which makes for a very short walk when you’re leaving a theme park for the day.
Wanda, registered guests at any of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels enjoy complimentary standard parking at any of the four theme parks. It’s just one of the many
perks of being a Disney hotel guest. Annual Passholders and Disney Premier Passport holders are also included in that group.
If you plan on visiting Disney Springs during your next trip, standard self-parking is also complimentary.
Remember that guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can skip the parking lot altogether by taking Disney buses, boats or monorails to get around the most magical place on earth!
I hope you and your family enjoy your time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Don’t hesitate to come back to see us soon with any other questions you may have!
