How busy will this weekend be? We are on site and are only there for 2 and half days starting friday afternoon. We want to fit in as much as possible and trying to plan ahead on what day we should go to what parks. tia!

I know you must be getting super excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, Rachel! The unofficial website allears.net lists this weekend to be "moderate attendance" on their historical attendance levels page and crowd levels not increasing to "highest" until Mid-March. I think you should just miss the Spring Break Crowds that will really start coming towards the middle of March through the middle of April. Since you will be staying on property, then I would suggest taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours, allowing yourself more time in the parks. Each day, one of the four Walt Disney World theme parks opens one hour early or remains open up to three hours after regular closing time. We find that we are able to experience several popular attractions quickly during these hours available only to Disney Resort guests. After looking up the park hours for this weekend, I would suggest going to Epcot on your first day there. Epcot will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Extra Magic Hours from 9:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. on Friday evening. On Saturday, March 3rd, Animal Kingdom park has Extra Magic Hours from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. opening to regular guests at 9:00 a.m. Animal Kingdom will be open until 7:00 p.m. and Disney's Hollywood Studios will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. I would suggest going to Animal Kingdom first thing and then going to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon if you will have the park hopper option on your tickets. If you do not have the park hopper option, then I would visit Disney's Hollywood Studios on Saturday. On Sunday, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. with Extra Magic Hours from 11:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. If you are not looking to visit each of the four theme parks and could give me a little more information, then I could tailor your itinerary to your family's interests/needs. Please write back if I can be of further assistance! I would love to assist you with planning a Magical Trip!
