How busy are the parks over the Easter Holiday? Do you suggest taking the kids out of school to go during a slower time?

Hi Marybeth,  Planning a Walt Disney World vacation is very exciting! You have asked a great question! I get asked this very question quite frequently by friends and family who are starting to think about a trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth! " The parks are generally more busy over the Easter Holiday. Honestly, my family prefers to vacation at a different time of year, due to the crowd levels and higher resort rates, you see during Spring Break and Easter weekend. However, I am not sure what the ages of your children are and how difficult it would be to take them out of school. If they are still in the lower grades, then you may want to consider visiting in early May, September or October when the parks are typically less crowded. The parks are generally pretty busy when it considered Peak Season at Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, this is also usually when schools are out for breaks. The unofficial website www.allears.net has a great planning section that gives you a breakdown of the historic attendance levels at Walt Disney World!  If you decide that this time of year really best suits your family's schedule,  I can definitely help customize your itinerary to help maximize your time and still allow for those magical moments! I have traveled during Spring Break a few times and with a touring strategy, it is most definitely doable!  Walt Disney World is a magical place whether it's crowded or not!  After you decide when you would like to visit, please come back and ask us more questions!  We are always here to help!
    Happy Planning!
