Hi Teresa!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
While we can never truly predict the crowd levels at Disney World, we can look back at past years to get an idea of what to expect around the parks.
Usually, that time of year is a great time to visit! Crowds usually pick up around the week of Thanksgiving, making those couple of weeks leading up to the holiday a little lighter overall.
It’s actually one of my favorite times to visit Disney World because you get to enjoy
Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, and you get to see all of the
holiday decorations up around the parks and resorts.
In addition to that, the holiday parties are also offered during that time. On select nights, Magic Kingdom will be hosting
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and Hollywood Studios will be hosting
Jollywood Nights.
Of course, no matter what time of year you visit the parks, I’d always expect at least some crowds. My family loves to utilize
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass to avoid some of the long standby waits for attractions.
It’s also good to note that on days when Magic Kingdom hosts a Christmas Party, the park closes ta 6 PM to regular park guests. Because of that, crowds are often lower during the day than on days in which Magic Kingdom doesn’t host a party.
I hope that gives you some guidance when planning your trip! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
