Are the busses or the monorail a faster form of travel? We will be staying staying at the All Star Movie resort and one evening of the trip dropping my son off at the Contemporary for Pixar Play Zone while we head to Epcot. Suggested travel for route?

Hi, there, Holly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

So glad to hear you'll be taking your son to Pixar Play Zone at Disney's Contemporary Resort where he will feel like he's in the middle of his favorite Pixar movies with themed games and activities, a special dinner just for kids his age, music, favorite Pixar characters such as Woody, Jessie, Mr. Incredible, and Mrs. Incredible, all partying together!

If traveling from Disney's All Star Movies Resort, you have two options. If you're not in a hurry, one option is to take the bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort, which will be about 10-15 minutes. Another option is to use Disney's Minnie Van Service, which works with the Lyft app. Minnie Vans are Disney-operated vehicles driven by specially-trained Cast Members, who will be happy to take you wherever you need to go with a smile and interesting conversation.

Once there, you will need to take the Resort Monorail line (be sure not to get confused as there are three monorail lines in total) and will need to get off at TTC (the Ticket and Transportation Center) and then walk the short distance to the Epcot Monorail to travel to Epcot. Follow this route again in reverse order to go back to Disney's Contemporary Resort to pick up your son. In order to get back to your hotel, you can walk back to Magic Kingdom Park again and then use the bus or the Minnie Van Service.

I hope this has been helpful, Holly! I wish you and your family the most magical trip!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
