Are all the busses, boats, monorails gondolas etc equipped to carry scooters? How early should we arrive to the conveyances to take advantage of early park access? We're at the Riviera.

    Hey there, Kathy!

I'm thrilled to welcome you BACK to plandisney with another great question! It's always such a joy to see familiar friends return to us. Getting to share in your planning journey is really special to us, and it truly means so much to know you trust us to help add a little extra magic to your upcoming visit.

I'm so excited to hear you'll be staying at Disney's Riviera Resort soon. It just happens to be my favorite resort! There's something so special about its relaxed European charm, and I can never get enough of those stunning views. One of my favorite spots is Le Petit Café...I always have to grab an iced vanilla latte there. It's the perfect pick-me-up before heading into the parks! And of course, having the Skyliner right at your doorstep makes it super easy to zip off to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.

Speaking of transportation, I'm happy to let you know that getting around Walt Disney World will be a breeze! All of Disney's complimentary transportation options — whether you're hopping on the iconic monorail, gliding across the water on a water taxi, boarding a bus, or soaring above it all on the Disney Skyliner — are fully equipped to accommodate scooters. No matter which way you choose to travel, you'll be able to get to the magic comfortably and with ease!

Now, let's chat about Early Theme Park Entry! This is one of my favorite perks of staying at a Disney Resort because it gives you a head start on the fun before the parks officially open. Transportation usually starts about 45 minutes before the parks open...and the best part is this includes Early Entry! So, for example, if the park you're visiting opens at 9:00 AM and Early Entry begins at 8:30 AM, transportation will usually start running around 7:45 AM. Personally, I'd recommend getting to the bus stop or skyliner station at Riviera about an hour early. There's something magical about being one of the first Guests in the park, walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with hardly anyone around, and getting those first glimpses of Cinderella Castle before the crowds arrive.

Kathy, I hope this information helps as you continue counting down to your vacation. If any other questions pop up, you're always welcome here at planDisney!

    Magic Awaits,
