    Will the Buses from MK to the resorts run after the Electric Water Parade? MK closes at 8:00 and the parade is not until after 10:00

    Hi Amanda!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Electrical Water Pageant is such a classic Walt Disney World Resort parade and I'm delighted to hear you have plans to include it on your upcoming trip!

    The Disney Bus Transportation stops running two hours after the park closes. This is not just the standard closing time, but also includes anything "extra" that may be happening at the park. Based on your date of arrival, though Magic Kingdom does close at 8 PM, you may want to check and see if any evening of your stay has Extra Magic Hours or Disney After Hours. This would keep the park open to 10 PM, so the buses would continue to operate until midnight. If this does not overlap with your planned Magic Kingdom day you have a couple other options. You could walk over the Disney's Contemporary Resort and from there take a bus to Disney Springs, which tends to stay open later. Buses to Disney Springs will run from the Resort hotels up to one hour before closing and two hours afterwards, so you could bus to Disney Spring and transfer to a bus for your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. You could also use a ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft to get you back home at night!
