What is the bus transportation like from Port Orleans French Quarter to the theme parks? Does the resort always share a bus with Riverside? If so, what order does the bus stop in?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dana! I'm delighted to answer your question!

Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Riverside are among my favorite Disney Resorts. They are so peaceful and always beautifully decorated that I never tire of choosing them as my home away from home!

Both resorts share buses most of the time. On its way back from the parks, the bus will stop at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter first (remember that the bus stop is located in front of the main lobby) and will then service Disney's Port Orleans Riverside. If you are going to the parks from Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter, your bus will loop around Disney's Port Orleans Riverside before heading to its final destination. Buses run every 20 minutes so you should not worry about being on an overcrowded bus or too long a wait.

Keep in mind also that you can enjoy a leisurely cruise to Disney Springs on a complimentary water taxi from either resort. Isn't that awesome?

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
