Hi Lauren!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!
I’m happy to report that
Disney bus transportation from the resort will drop you off right by the main entrance to
Magic Kingdom. Only those who arrive by off-property shuttle or by car/rideshare service (with the exception of Minnie Vans) will need to go through the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom via bus, you’ll head through security, and then you’ll be right at the turnstiles to enter the park. When exiting the park, you’ll go to the same general area where you were dropped off. You’ll see a large sign with all of the bus stop numbers to direct you to the specific bus stop for your resort.
If you plan to go to Magic Kingdom for
Early Entry and really want to make the most of it, I recommend leaving your resort about an hour before the listed Early Entry time. That way, you’ll have time to get to the park and snap a couple of photos in front of Cinderella Castle with fewer crowds before heading to your first attraction.
It’s good to note that two popular Magic Kingdom attractions are set to reopen in Spring 2026:
Big Thunder Mountain and
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. While specific dates haven’t been announced yet, it might just happen to work out with your trip dates! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Hours & Events Calendar for updated information.
I hope you have a great trip! Let us know if you have any other questions. We’re happy to help!
