Lorna,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I am guessing that you are asking where the
Disney Transportation bus drops you off when you go from
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to the
Magic Kingdom Park? It is true that when you drive your own car to the Magic Kingdom you have to either take the monorail or the ferry boat from the Transportation and Ticket Center over to the park. But with the
bus service from your resort hotel to the Magic Kingdom you are dropped off right outside the park gates! It is just a short 3/10 of a kilometer (2/10 of a mile) walk from the bus stop to the ticket turnstiles of the park. No boat or monorail ride is required.
BONUS TIP #1The bus ride from your resort to the Magic Kingdom should take about 25 minutes, but don't forget to factor in time waiting for the bus to arrive to your resort.
BONUS TIP #2An often-overlooked perk of staying at Port Orleans French Quarter (and Riverside) is the
water launch that takes you to
Disney Springs! The last time my wife and I stayed there we enjoyed the scenic ride to Disney Springs, followed by some great shopping and delicious dinner options!
BONUS TIP #3The
Scat Cat’s Club – Café in your resort serves delicious Mickey-shaped beignets from 7 am to 11 am!
Please
write me back if this is not what you were asking. I am glad to answer that, or any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
